Empowering Educators through Global Citizenship Training! (June 1,2,3,4, 15 and 16)
On June (1,2,3,4,15 and 16) 2025, I had the opportunity to serve as Deputy Director (Training) at Shikkha Unnoyon O Gobeshona Kendra, Azimpur, Dhaka, where I took a 6-day training program on “Global Citizenship” for the officers and staff of the Compulsory Primary Education Implementation and Monitoring Unit, under the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education.
The training aimed to strengthen participants’ understanding of global citizenship values — including intercultural awareness, civic responsibility, sustainability, and ethical leadership — and how these can be integrated into Bangladesh’s primary education monitoring and delivery systems.
It was truly inspiring to see such commitment among government officials to building a more inclusive and globally conscious education system.
